All the king's horses and all the king's men...
Who: Atobe Keigo and whoever
What: Trying to get some management done
When: Day 29, whole day
Where: All over the place
Rating: G, I... think
[[A.] Early morning finds Atobe in the Odin district, talking to the natives for a while before they agree to let him organize and instruct them as to how to help clean off the debris. It wasn't as bad as he had thought, luckily, despite how chaotic it seemed the day before. At the very least, the buildings were still intact, and any fixing required would probably take no more than a few days. He spends the longest time here before he finds his way towards the other districts to do the same, speaking to the more agreeable natives, seeing as not all of them were quite open to talking to a member of another district, so that the workflow could go faster. It's not as smooth as in Odin, and some of them were quick to dismiss him entirely, but he can't be choosy when he had expected it. He's persistent though, and anyone who may be passing by may find him trying to compromise with them to a more effective solution.
[B.] By late afternoon, he's helping two kids try to find their parents. They're not from Odin, but one of them sported some bad injuries from the burn and could barely walk, and he somehow found himself carrying her to the Sigyn hospital while the other child looked at him warily.
[C.] By early evening, he's back in the Odin house, this time taking advantage of the massage chairs they had won from the previous cupcake competition. He has a few books stacked beside him and his eyes trained on the one in his hand, flipping the pages occasionally.
[D.] By late night? Anyone wandering around Odin may here the repetitive sound of something hitting a wall. Investigations would reveal Atobe rallying against the wall, seeing as he has no one he can play with that he knows of, and he can't let his skills rust. Except they have, because it was clear to him something was off about his insight, and no matter how closely he watched people today, it was really off and it bugged him. Not that he'd say it, especially not when he's so focused on hitting a certain spot of the wall with dead accuracy.
At any time of the day, he's open to chat, but he'll be more focused on trying to finish the tasks at hand. Also, anyone who sees him may notice the slight limp in his movements if they watch closely enough, an injury he got from yesterday's debacle.]

[A/Freyr]
In a way, that at least earns a bit of respect from him.]
Hard at work, I see. What can I help you with?

These structures. Do you think they are too close for comfort? We were fortunate that the fire damage was minimal, but that dragon could still return...
[And cause an inferno so widespread that it would be impossible to contain.]
So I am trying to evaluate the necessity of writing a proposal for a revision of building regulations. I am not sure if the minimal damage has been through pure luck, or if the buildings have been sufficiently fireproofed. I admit that I may be overly cautious, since something similar to this happened to me before, albeit at a greater scale.

Ahn~ Your concern isn't far-off. For small scale fires, it can still be contained, but anything larger than what we had can cause a bigger problem.
Are you planning on sending a proposal then?

I shall make eight copies and place one at each God's altar. Perhaps there is a transportation mechanism that allows them access to the offered items. If that fails, I will send it through the network. Though unsightly as the latter will be, it should get the job done.
You are welcome to review the rough draft once I am finished with it.

[He looks back at the buildings.] The structures are similar no matter where you go, after all. It's not ideal in a place that will be facing a war.

Umu, I was hoping for a city-wide proposition, so our interests coincide. Speaking of which, how many districts have you covered so far?

[There's nothing wrong with acknowledging a rival's talents, after all. She's looking forward to challenging him again. Now's not the time for that, though.]
Things are mostly under control here. If you'd like, perhaps I can accompany you through the other districts. Since this proposal will be city-wide, I see it fit that I survey as many areas as possible.

[A pause.] That would be for the best. It'll be easier to decide how to follow through with things if we can discuss the topic immediately upon inspection.

Umu. Let us be on our way, then.
