[ He's been standing outside the door for... a while now.

Well maybe not too long. A minute or two, perhaps.  A slightly larger and fatter Timcanpy atop one shoulder and suitcase in hand, rubbing at the back of his neck for a moment. It's not that Allen looks that different even (mostly it's TImcanpy), even if he was gone several months (really, if anything it's that his hair started getting... fluffy and is tied back more often now). Different gloves, a different coat. Maybe a little thinner. (It's hardly like being a fugitive with his sort of Innocence meant he got even half as much to eat as he should have.)

... maybe it's three minutes now, standing outside that door. And rubbing his neck isn't really helping move his mind along and only starts to feel weird after doing it so long. And he huffs a bit of a sigh then and stops (mostly out of annoyance at himself). It seems a little silly, trying to figure out what to do (he used to just use the key and let himself in after all), but, well... Even in being so glad, so relieved now, whatever all that meant now --

(Because if Kaworu's looked around, the apartment's certainly lived-in. Link was there. And while Link was in Utgard these last couple days Allen stayed to be lonely together with the cats cat-sit.)

(But Allen's room is an untouched as Kaworu's is. Or touched only in the sense all his belongings (which is very few and fits in one suitcase, basically) were removed.)
