"I already did," Sam says, as gently as possible, his hand still on Castiel's arm. "I came here to find you two -- it's empty. So if she's here, she's not in the building."

That seems pretty final, though, so Sam draws in a breath before forcing a smile.

"But she might be somewhere else, so let's get you healed and then we can look for her. She's probably with Jo. Alright?"
