[Maribelle had taken her time about the city, seeing to what remained of the injured to the best of her ability. She knew what had happened - she was there, so of course she knew - but it hadn't quite sunk in yet - perhaps because there was so very much to do.
Still, she worked tirelessly, and if she noticed the dreadful state of her clothes (or the way her parasol had mysteriously survived everything in a relatively unscathed fashion), her own bruises and scrapes (amongst other injuries, though the most serious had been treated), or the way her hair was decidedly uncurled and falling out of its rather haphazard ponytail in waves, she didn't say anything.]

[She had gone back home, it was true, but she had come back - with her beloved violin, no less. She had accepted Frigg's gift, and was fully intend on using it. Strangely enough, the memories of this place had only returned upon her own (subconscious, perhaps) decision to come back to Asgard. But here she was, playing the violin with a passion that she had so rarely shown to anyone - outside of arguments and justice, that is.
She felt a responsibility to this place, and she had accepted it - and she was going to help rebuild this place in any way she could.]

[She had heard of the need to rebuild the kingdoms, and risen to the occasion. After ensuring her beloved home and family - and her darling Lissa and Chrom - were safe, she'd returned, eyes bright and spine straight. She'd thrown herself into her new work with gusto, spending long hours brushing up on her diplomatic skills (which, frankly, had needed some brushing up on, anyway, if Plegia had been any indication - although she'd hardly been a disaster with the giants and the elves). This place needed healing, and she was quite proud of her skills as a healer, even though her staff was less in demand here than any kindnesses she could give.]

[It was hard work, rebuilding a world. Maribelle was as tireless as ever, and even more determined, and she knew Ylisse would do just fine without her - at least for now. Besides, there was quite a lot to accomplish, even (and perhaps especially) with the war over. And maybe she would even settle here, one day (though that honestly depended on the state of things, both in Asgard and at home, and she knew she could never fully leave her homeward behind, no matter what). Who knew? She would have to see.]
