[closed] one night in long bygone times
Who: Norway, Iceland, Denmark
What: Iceland is lured to Norway's condo by cake, little does he know they are not alone...
When: A WHILE AGO I'm not sure I'm so late on this.
Where: Odin paid housing 104
Rating: PG??
[ The buttery cake is placed on the table nearest to the door, Denmark is hidden away in one of the rooms of the condo--nothing can go wrong with this plan. He awaits Iceland's arrival, a slice of cake on a plate in one hand to feed and sit him down immediately, and ready to block the door once Iceland sees Denmark.
Nothing can go wrong. ]

Nore?
no subject
Hey, Norge, some've th' windows might be stuck but if you need help openin' 'em just tell me, okay!
no subject
Maybe if he ignores Denmark, Iceland will ignore him too. ]
no subject
You didn't tell me Dan was here.
no subject
[He beams down at the smaller Nation, all smiles and cheerful excitement. This can work, this will work, this will be totally great, the three of them together and making the best of this crazy city as a team!]
Is th' cake good?
no subject
Yeah, sit down 'n eat.
no subject
You didn't say Dan was going to be here, too.
[Though he has finally figured out how this is being payed for and he is trying to find an opening to get out the door.]
no subject
[If he was more sensitive his feelings would be hurt. Right now he just shrugs it off.]
Hey, why don't ya check out that room over there? I think you'll like it, th' view doesn't face another building or anythin' like that.

[Pouting, though he wouldn't admit to that sort of childish expression.]
I don't want to live somewhere loud. How long did you have this decided, anyway?
no subject
[But he doesn't wait for an answer before he's trying to take Iceland's plate without asking and set it on the table if he will let him. The he's reaching for Iceland's hand.]
Come on, I'll show you! If you don't like it you can look at th' other rooms t' see if you like 'em better.
no subject
If Den's loud, I'll make him quiet. Ya'll have yer own room, 'n the walls seem thick.
no subject
Did you both just assume I'd go along with it?
no subject
Do ya like livin' in th' big house with all those strangers?
no subject
We thought ya'd enjoy livin' with yer brothers. We didn't think ya hated family so much.
no subject
[He is deliberately reminding them because he is honestly not sure if they remember him saying that, since they're both from back when he was one.]
no subject
[And it's maybe a struggle to say that but he'd given it thought before coming here, before he'd even applied for the housing. Norway and Iceland both were coming from times when they were independent, the thought alone made him proud and intensely anxious all at once. Back home Iceland still lived with him but that wasn't here and honestly, it wasn't his Iceland. Just like this was a different Norway, though one whom he loved even more for finding out he was leaving Sweden's house to call himself independent.
He shrugs and smiles at both of them.]
Come on, Island, this isn't our world, we're far enough from home t' be able t' forget th' hang ups of even bein' nations. Livin' here it'll be just us, as brothers!

no subject
As long as I get my own room. [A short pause, and then somewhat more imperiously:] And Dan has to help move my stuff.
no subject
Island, I'll help ya lift anythin' ya want! Do you wanna pick your room now? Pick your room now! I wanna see if you choose th' one I think you'll like!
no subject
Let 'im eat or I'm takin' your slice'a cake. [ That is his way of inviting Denmark to eat with them. ]
no subject
[There's cake now and he wants it. He spent precious time arguing and not eating cake, after all.]
no subject
For once Denmark is silent.]
no subject
Ya can pick out whatever ya want fer yer room, too, Ice. Den'll pay. We got an extra room, don't we? Ya can put books in there.
no subject
Yeah, it'd be pretty dumb to just leave a room empty, so...
[So he wants to fill it with books yes.]
no subject
Yeah, um, yeah, what Norge said. Just want ya both t' be happy so, whatever you want!
[...He was going to have to get a second job.]
no subject
Ya'll wake any elves around. [ This is as close to gratefulness as he can get. ]
no subject
I'd need shelves. [Lots of shelves. He sounds pleased, though.]
