[ ok. look. there's only so much time you can spend avoiding housemates and sleeping and trying not to panic about the fact that you can feel the fire (it just won't bend) and worrying about your little brother not having you around to take care of him and, OH BY THE WAY THERE IS THIS BULLSHIT KIDNAPPING THING we have to figure out too before you go a little stir crazy. and by a little i mean kind of a lot. and it only took two days! haha whoops.

NOW HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CATCH THIS ELUSIVE HOBO ATHLETE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN? actually, there are a couple options!

you could catch him out in the city on his morning run! or, the first run in what will be a series of habitual morning runs. gotta get that cardio, y'all. if you ask mako, some of the clothes he bummed out of that closet were weird. the shoes especially. but eh, yeah, take what you can get, not gonna complain about free things, are we? they're actually pretty comfy fff. it's a little over a ten k to go around the outside of the city, but after that fist lap, he just sort of meanders through the streets, exploring. SWEATY AT SEVEN IN THE MORNING. YUM. it's nice though, having a kind of mindless activity to do that's familiar among all this... WEIRD CRAP.

around breakfast time, mako rolls back into the welcome home, all nice and sweaty and sort of out of breath. it was a good run, ok. and uh. WOW HE REALLY NEEDS A SHOWER NOW ok um just gonna sorta... breeze in through the back door in sweats and a tank top and uh. try to discretely head upstairs to get that shower? he's back a few minutes later in clean... sweats again and a tee hobo athlete means hobo athlete, guys.
