What: Vanitas has no sense of style, so Euri has decided he needs a makeover. Kaz is coming too because he needs a pick-me-up after being mugged by Claudia.

[It's a wonderful day out, perfect for an exciting shopping trip through the city! Euri has been enthusiastic about it all day, and even Kaz seems to be having a good time. The same can't be said for Vanitas, but Euri's just grateful he hasn't lashed out or run off. After all, this whole trip is for him!]

There's another store down this street we could try!

They have both men's and women's clothes, and the prices are pretty reasonable.

[Of course, they'll be going there regardless of Vanitas' opinion, but she might as well tell him about the store instead of just dragging him in blind. Which reminds her - she and Kaz need to bring him over to Rarity, so he can order a few classier things from her.]

Here it is: the moment you've all been waiting for! The Valentine's Ball has begun!

At 8pm, all characters will suddenly find themselves wearing formal wear to suit their tastes, and lights and music will begin in the ballroom. Characters are welcome to come and go from the ball as they'd like, except for the Ball Court members, who will be teleported to the ballroom and may not change clothes or leave until 9pm!

Court members were determined by number of Valentines received, and are the top earner in their respective Houses! :) We'll be unscreening the valentines tally comments momentarily.

At 9pm, the King and Queen of the ball will be announced. King & Queen were the highest Valentine earners in the whole city, and are:

Yes, Hel House dominated the Valentine Receiving by quite a bit, as did these particular characters.


The ballroom has dim but colourful lighting and plays a variety of types of music from classical to dubstep. There is a refreshments table including punch, various cookies, and small sandwiches, and a second table that, again, provides any kind of food or drink (even alcohol) the character could wish for, including things from their home worlds. Also, as of 8pm everyone's valentine receiving boxes will be unlocked! Open them up to see the valentines you received and who they're from! :)

[ Besides mugging certain [Bad username or site: songspieler title= @ livejournal.com] Kaz has discovered another hobby in which he can set misery upon others. It's not nearly as effective at getting him anything to fill his pockets with (in fact it isn't at all), but it's funny as hell for him.

Really, he thought those Gods and everyone who went on about them was ether nuts or high off their rocker--but wouldn't you know it, they've actually got powers here. Sure he can't climb walls or spit spider silk in people's faces anymore, but he can do something even better than that now. He can make people smack themselves.

Sure it doesn't work every time and the first time he did it was by complete accident, and he still has to focus really hard to make it work BUT HE CAN MAKE PEOPLE MOVE. Who knew Hel wasn't just some crazy creeper-stalker?

So that's what he's doing in the Sigyn District right now, sitting on top of one of the lower walls and pointing at the people he targets while he tries to figure this all out. It could be a local or it could just be a visitor just not paying attention but he is so doing this for as long as he can get away with it. ]

[Welcome to the city of Asgard. Now that you've woken up and been given your welcome instructions (as per the FAQ), what will you do? There are a good number of other new arrivals being shown to the gates, and for today the plaza that surrounds the castle is open for mingling. You could also head to your Welcome Hall (details here) and meet your Housemates if you'd like. Whatever you decide to do, have fun getting settled into your new home!]
