It's late, it's cold, and he's lost.

He gave up on the map awhile ago, figuring he'd just circle back to where he needed to be eventually, but this place is more complicated than that. Even with the colours to guide him, he doesn't know if he should be turning left or right to get back to Baldr, or even if he wants to get back there. It'll just mean another sleepless night, pulse pounding with rage and frustration, and he's more sick of lying awake than he is tired.

There's the matter of the cold, though. That'll have to be seen to.

Without so much as a pause, he breaks a side window in the nearest building and climbs through, then smiles to himself when he realizes what he's found. A bar. Perfect. The first bottle within reach is quickly opened and upended into his mouth - a deep, sweet burn starts in his throat and works its way through his whole body, and it feels so much like being back home that he takes another long swallow.

Burn. Burning. This whole place should burn. And the perfect person to do it has been stripped of his fire, stripped of all but his name with which to remember it, and left to wallow in self-pity and anger.

Anger that suddenly, finally, explodes outward. Every bottle in the place is broken in its turn, the contents sprayed across the walls or emptied onto the floor; chairs fly through the windows, their tables upended and the legs broken off to be used as weapons against the mirrors that line the bar; finally, when there's no more manual destruction to be done, a small flame touches the floor of the bar and quickly spreads to lick its way up the walls. Within minutes, the entire building is alight.

Pyro doesn't escape unscathed - his jacket has a few scorch marks, and there are burns already beginning to heal on his hands as he sprints away from the roaring blaze. He's smiling, though, a manic and entirely unhinged smile, and he'll definitely be finding a high, secluded spot to watch the fire properly once he gets far enough from the scene of the crime. He even thinks he might sleep tonight.

There's an eerie orange glow coming from the far corner of Odin district, one that only swells and brightens with time. Closer to the scene, there are also strange sounds on the still night air: crackling and groaning, and finally a fatal snap as something very large gives way and something else - is it a building? - collapses.

If you happen to be very close by, you'll feel and hear broken glass crunching under your feet as you approach the blaze, and you'll have to step around the wreckage of several broken pieces of furniture before you reach the bar itself. It's long gone, no chance of saving the structure, but was there anyone inside? Are there survivors? And how long will the fire remain contained before it spreads throughout the whole district?

Someone really had better do something about that.

((ooc: remember, one network post (Rose and Dirk) will be going up alerting everyone to the presence of the fire! feel free to assume your character saw that or just have them stumble across the scene.))
