[ so the two girls had arranged to meet up by the welcome hall in freyr and from there, make their way to the arena in thor.

luka's waiting anxiously outside, shifting her weight between her two feet almost too often. she's a bit nervous -- she's never experienced anything related with powers, that kind of thing didn't exist in her modern japan, and to suddenly come to a world with them, well... it'd take some time to learn how to use her power.

bardic influence, huh? how fitting.

her eyes are scanning the area for another girl who would, hopefully, be approaching her sometime soon ]

[Hope you don't mind a girl being an hour late because here she is, running as quickly as she can to the arena!

While she was out of breath, she did had enough energy to make sure to look for her friend. As she spotted the girl, she makes her way over to her. However, it's clear that the blond was out of breath]

H-Hi Luka...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you wait that...long did I?

[ an hour! luka's the type to get a bit annoyed after waiting so long, but considering neither of them knew their way around each other's district, she supposes she could left bianca off this time.

at the sound of her voice, she looks up and sees bianca coming towards her -- oh, did she run here? ]

Ah, no, no -- it's fine, Bianca. Why don't you catch your breathe first before we go anyway...

[Bianca is getting better at it! She's just someone who is use to being late to everything but she's trying to be on time! It's just...taking her a while.

As she heard Luka talk, she lets out a couple more gasps before speaking]

N-No, it's okay, I'll be fine. We...can go in there now if you want. I-I'll catch my breath...soon!

Are you sure? [ she's concerned, of course! luka would like bianca to be alright before they go anywhere ] I really don't mind if we don't leave for a few more minutes.

But if you insist, we can take our time getting to Thor. [ luka's used to people insisting that they're alright, so if bianca's going to be like that with her, she's ready to concede with insistence, if any ]

Mhmm, I'm positive! [She finally stands up from her position before flashing a bright smile. Nothing can keep Bianca down! Not even that long run from Thor to here!]

[And she gives Luka a slight push to the Arena annddd]

[ luka chuckles, after that push bianca gives her she starts walking on her own now, taking a moderate walking pace ]

There's been something on my mind since we disconnected from the network... How are we going to test out our powers in the Arena?

Well, usually there's some dummies lying around and some of the natives here wouldn't mind helping out too! I never really tried out any powers for my abilities before, it's mostly from training with the sword!

So I don't think I have any ideas!

To be honest, I'm not sure how the dummies would work out with our specific powers... Bardic Influence manipulates the mind, so I don't think it'd work well to test it on a dummy. [ a beat ] Although, I'd rather not impose on a native for something as simple as this...

[ and then luka sighs in acceptance, because either way, it doesn't seem like there's a choice! luka's just trying to think all of this through ]

Likewise, your healing abilities wouldn't be effective on a dummy since there's nothing to actually heal.

I think the only option would be is to ask other people in Arena who wouldn't mind helping us out? I'm sure there's got to be something here for everyone with every power! We just need to think of something!
