Taking the ladle from Samantha, Penelope nodded slightly, forgetting for a moment that she couldn't see. "Alright," she said, glancing briefly towards the tail before she reached over to get some water. As she poured some of it onto the rocks, slowly, she pulled her scarf off her face and let it rest down around her neck.
It would come off fully eventually, but having it that close to her face still - just in case - was comforting for her. Even with the blindfold, she was incredibly nervous about pushing her luck like this; even if Samantha was different herself, Penelope still had a deeply embedded fear of her running away.
"I don't." She settled back against the wall, brow furrowing a little in an effort to see better through the steam.
