[OPEN] EVENT LOG: BAD MOON RISING - WEEK TWO
Who: EVERYONE!
What: Bad Moon Rising: Week Two
When: Days 323-326 ( September 8-15 )
Where: All across the city.
Rating: PG-13. Anything that might go higher than that should be taken to a private log, please!
[ You've been on edge. Inexplicably, so far as you can tell in the moments after those short bouts of quick, sharp anger you've experienced in the past few days - but maybe it's simply stress from the recent attacks on the city. Perhaps some rest will help, or a nice day at Folkvang to decompress and gather yourself.
Whatever you try, though, the odd feeling of being off stubbornly lingers on. Anger is joined by discomfort, the shadows in the corners of the room just a little bit darker than usual and did you see something dart down that alley way? The hallucinations creep into every day activities, paranoia and snappishness leading to insomnia and sleep deprivation. Try as you may to ignore it, the symptoms only seem to escalate over time. Maybe it's stress. Maybe it's something else entirely.
But it's stubbornly lingering on. Perhaps some rest will help ... ]
[ OOC NOTES: This is the mingle log for Week 2 of the Bad Moon Rising event! Characters will start experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations alongside vivid violent thoughts at strange, innocuous moments. Some characters may start sleep walking and heading towards the Gate of Fog; none will make it, however, so lock your doors and keep an eye on your friends. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location in your comment titles. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! ]

Lol. Don't worry! Happens to all of us. =D
For a second there he almost drops to the floor, until she pats the space beside her. Without hesitation he slides onto the bench, leaning back against it instantly.]
Those ones that show the future? Man, they sound really cool. I shoulda eaten one of those.
[BACKPEDALLING ALL THE WAY.]
... Sorry. Was it really bad?
orz
[It could have been worse and several people helped her to feel better about it so she refrained from confirming his suspicion of it being really bad.]
This feeling has nothing to do with that. At least, that is what I think.
no subject
Apparently he won't find out unless he presses the issue, and in his experience pressing doesn't really get you anywhere.]
What do you think then? You been here long? Maybe it's like, you're home sick or something?
You sure you didn't eat something else weird?
no subject
[Leeloo sighs wistfully and then turns to catch the stranger's glance.]
I am sure.
[He amuses her a little bit and she manages the tiniest of smiles.]
no subject
[He misses home too. Mostly because he just wants to be there, working through the war and dragging Sasuke back home. Finally. It's bothersome to think about it.
Stuff like this makes it easier to forget for the moment, and a smile like that - no matter how tiny is enough to force a grin from him.]
Heh--
You sure you ain't hungry either? I know this awesome ramen place!
no subject
[That wasn't something she had read about in her translations of what she'd missed in the three hundred years she'd been asleep.]
no subject
[This again!? Seriously?
He's up on his feet moments later, stretching his arms up above him in a stretch before letting them drop dramatically at his sides.]
I'll show ya! It's noodles, right? In broth with vegetables an' meat stuff. It'll make ya feel better. Promise!
no subject
[She doesn't look absolutely sure but she has a trusting nature and it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.]
I will go with you. I like noodles. So I am sure I will like this.
no subject
How could a grin like that belong to someone dangerous?]
Right!
Yeah yeah, they're the best seriously! What kinda meat d'ya like?
no subject
I like chicken. Most meats are nice, but that is my favorite.
no subject
Chicken.
The chicken one is real good from this place. I kinda like pork best though, y'know?
no subject
[She shrugs, not thinking it's really a big deal. She's had roasted pork cooked on spits rotisserie style in medieval times, but not very often since.]
no subject
[He really doesn't mind, as long as it's -- you know, one bite. Not like ten.]
Er, who are you anyway?
no subject
[She smiles up at him and swings her arms up in front of her for a stretch while she walks.]
I will try some.
[She made no guarantees that she'd like it but she liked most things so she didn't foresee any problems.]
no subject
[FAIR ENOUGH. He's not going to question it. Nope. Not at all.]
Why do they call you Leeloo?
no subject
[It's a mouthful. She knows it. But each word has it's own meaning in Divinian.]
Leeloo is shorter.
no subject
Okay, yeah that would explain it.]
Er, yeah. Guess it is.
no subject
[She doesn't seem to phased that it's strange for her name to be so long. It's what she's always known. She likes her name. She just understands that people prefer to call her Leeloo instead.]
no subject
Yeah, I'm Naruto? Uzumaki Naruto!
[He's grinning as he says it. He's proud. Yup.]
no subject
[She extends her hand for a shake even though they're walking. No, she doesn't see that as strange at all.]
no subject
Yeah yeah, you know - er, you too. Leeloo.
[So perhaps her name might take a little getting used to.]
no subject
[There's a new bounce to her step now that they've made their introductions. She's happy to be accepted by another person in the city, and for a moment it takes her mind off of the things that are bothering her.]
no subject
Those thoughts are weird whilst he has a hold of her hand, and they don't fade once he lets go.
Perhaps he's just hungry. Good that they're headed for ramen.]
Oh, hey! Look, it's right there!
no subject
[She reaches forward to open the door once they make it to the shop and holds it open so Naruto can go in first. Not realizing what that might represent. She's just trying to be nice, okay.]
no subject
[He's even about to keep on explaining his feelings on the matter, only-- she's holding open the door for him.
It doesn't seem to phase him too much though, and he casually walks past her and right up to the counter.]
You wanted chicken right?
You said that, yeah?
