Hospital Log: Stab Ward Edition
Who: OPEN TO ALL
What: Get yourself treated for sudden stab wounds! Heal people who have been stabbed! Can't do much about the betrayal, though, sorry. Feel free to interact with other patients and stuff. Bond over bleedy betrayal!
When: day 51+
Where: Sigyn district hospital
Rating: PG-13ish?
Momoka has managed to set aside an entire room for the sudden influx of stab wound victims, probably because most of the hospital workers are still blank and grey enough that they don't mind being ordered around by a ten-year-old. Anyway, this makes for easy interaction with everyone else going through the same thing as you. Make some stab friends!

So long as he's stable and resting, that's good. [He pauses, not exactly wanting to bring up the subject of his injury with her himself.] Have you been here all day?
no subject
Mm. He seems to be doing well. [That pause provides the time for her attention to drift toward his injury again. The question does distract her a bit, but she hasn't forgotten.] ... Most of it, yes. [And she's tired, and it shows in the set of her shoulders and parts of her face, but,] Riku, you need to get that looked at. [... she's not too tired to look after him.]
no subject
I know, just wanted to check that he was okay. He's got it worse after all. [That and, well, hospitals really weren't his type of thing. Too sterile, too stuffy, and though he has lots of patience, the wait is pretty terrible to handle.]
I dunno. I thought it would be cool. Maybe bloodstained shirts will be all the rage this year. [Har har. You're terrible at jokes, Riku.]
no subject
[Her eyes dart up toward him, the slightest hint of a chastisement in them for only a moment before she works out a smile for his joke. He's trying, anyway.] Maybe. The hospital would get lots of work, I guess. [Which isn't exactly a good thing, but anyway. Normally, she'd encourage him to move to one of the other rooms for treatment, except... she doesn't really like the idea of him walking around with that wound any more than he has to, and everyone else seems to be either absent or busy, so-- she reaches out to attempt to gently peel his shirt up and get a better look at the source of all that blood.]

Plus, he does owe it to Sora and to her even to keep an eye out for him.
Riku holds back a hiss as she works away at his shirt, but tries to stay as still as he possibly can for her sake. The wound's not as bad as Roxas's, but there's still a gaping gasp and plenty of dried blood around the entry.]
Between this and the fairies and dragons, this place is almost going to run out of people to heal with.
no subject
[She lets out a hiss of her own, but it's a quiet little thing, and out of sympathy rather than pain. Her response to his comment is a rather distracted,] It has been very... hectic. [Then, with much more attention,] Riku, you should have gotten help earlier. [THIS IS NOT OKAY, MAN. Fortunately, she's not the type to yell or freak out. She actually sounds more disappointed than anything, which is not to say that she's surprised to get this kind of thing from him. She bites at her lip just a bit, thoughtful.]

IT'S OKAY IN HIS MIND, OKAY. Not like he asked for this ability. It's hardly a fair trade for a Keyblade, or a Keyblade with powers, as Way to the Dawn just sits propped up against the side of his chair since he can't dismiss it. He gives her a flat look, not too worried about the disappointment.]
I'm not the one that was going into shock, Naminé. [Although he probably would be, if Aqua hadn't ordered him to pull back.] There are more-- [A grunt and a wince as he shifts a bit to sit up straighter.] more important things to attend to than me.
no subject
[He can look at her all he wants, that little frown will still be on her face. She'd be a lot happier about him getting his Keyblade back, powerless or not, if she had the time to focus on it.]
I know, but--.... [She stops, shuts her mouth, then shakes her head.] ... You matter, too. [She turns her eyes back to the wound. She's not certain how much she'll be able to help, but some help is better than none, she supposes, and she's loathe to leave him like this, so she keeps holding up his short with one hand and reaches over to get to get to healing him with the other.] This might hurt. [Having one's flesh magically knit back together probably isn't exactly a comfortable feeling.]
no subject
He breathes deep and nods, letting her know he's ready. But he's not exactly ready for that. He's had Cure been used on him before, but the kind of magic in this world must just be that different because it's nothing he's felt before.
He flinches, letting out a little gasp before keeping his jaw clenched tight.] S-sorry.
no subject
If you're going to lie to her, at least do it better. She glances up at him without moving her head, expression serious. Nice try. She doesn't, however, say anything, instead focusing on preparing to heal him.][At his reaction, she stops, drawing her hands away slightly.] ... You don't have to apologize. You can let me know whenever you need to take a break. [She's never had to heal a wound like that on herself, so she can't speak to how uncomfortable it is out of personal experience, but she's more than willing to take it slow if that's what he needs.]
no subject
He nods, annoyed with himself at his own reaction. He knows he needs to stay as still as possible for her. Thinking that maybe she needs both hands, he reaches over and holds up his shirt with the opposite hand.]
No. Just keep going. I'll be fine. [He can grit his teeth and bare it so long as he doesn't flinch again.]
no subject
[It is a lot easier with both hands, yes, although she hadn't wanted to ask him. She relinquishes her hold on his shirt - she's going to need to wash her hands after this, they've got his blood on them and it makes her stomach churn - and glances up at him, hesitating before nodding back. If that's how he wants to do it, she'll respect his wishes... but that doesn't me she won't back off if she sees he's hurting too badly.] I'm not sure how much I can do, but I think I can at least make it a little better. [A bit less likely to bleed so much, anyway.] ... I think that you might have to stay here for the night. I'm sorry. [She sets to work again, slightly more slowly than before.]
no subject
Just do as much as you can. That's all. [He winces as she starts again, and this times successfully resists the urge to twitch and back off. It's awkward, but he keeps his jaw tight and tries to think of other things to distract himself with.]
Don't apologize. If I have to, I have to.
no subject
[If only she could do more. But there's no help for it, not now, so she attends to her work with a nod, frowning in both concentration and sympathy. Just watching him like that makes her want to back off already, though she knows that if she does, nothing will ever get done. Better to finish this as quickly as possible.]
I know, but... you won't like it. And-- I'm sorry for that.
