Hospital Log: Stab Ward Edition

What: Get yourself treated for sudden stab wounds! Heal people who have been stabbed! Can't do much about the betrayal, though, sorry. Feel free to interact with other patients and stuff. Bond over bleedy betrayal!

Momoka has managed to set aside an entire room for the sudden influx of stab wound victims, probably because most of the hospital workers are still blank and grey enough that they don't mind being ordered around by a ten-year-old. Anyway, this makes for easy interaction with everyone else going through the same thing as you. Make some stab friends!

[The look Gai gives Shu next is incredulous, as if he's wondering just how Shu even came to that conclusion.]

To what end? You don't have the Void Genom and the GHQ doesn't exist in this world. [He smirks.] You're completely useless to me here.

[Over thinking things and people misleading him all over the place. A mix of both of those things.]

[A brief pause. It's true that the GHQ doesn't exist anymore, but that doesn't discount the possibility of antibodies being a potential threat. People's lives are in danger as long as they can be around.]

Yozora tightens her fist when Shu says this, though. Shu doesn't need to be in danger just for Inori. He doesn't need to follow what these people say. These people who use others, as Shu says. ]

[Oh. This time Gai actually looks genuinely angry as he stalks over to Shu's bed, steely eyes flashing. Even though he knows that Shu doesn't remember anything, that still doesn't excuse this behavior. What have the people here been saying to him?]

[For a moment he closes his eyes. What Gai is saying is true. Every time they go into battle, Shu's forced to use Inori's void. He's already committing a despicable crime by revealing her heart to others. Why did you have to drag her into this Gai? Geez. ]

[Fortunately it only takes Gai one hand to lift Shu, leaving the other one free. Meaning that he's just going to be catching that punch with his free hand and looking at Shu like he is a puppy that just did something very stupid ~~because it's not far from the truth~~.]

She was already involved the moment you blamed her for your injuries.

[ She can't just sit here and watch her friend hurt and get hurt. Cries. ]

... You're disturbing the patients in the other rooms. And if you want to pick a fight, Shu, do it when you're doing a little better than this and take it outside.

[Shu can't even stand on his own because Gai's lifting him up so high. Being short sucks.

[Gai makes a sound that almost sounds like a snort, but to his credit, his eyes soften just slightly and he lowers Shu back down to the ground. Then, without releasing his hold on Shu's collar, he raises his other hand to rest it over that stab wound; in just a moment, Shu should feel the pain lessen somewhat as Gai uses his newfound ability.]

[ When Gai places a hand on Shu's wound, Yozora has to stop herself from approaching the two and pulling them apart. He wouldn't hurt him regardless, would he?

It doesn't look like he did. ]

My injuries are...

[After Gai used his new ability to remove some of the pain, Shu couldn't help but wonder exactly what happened here?]

[He's staring at you like you know everything ~~which you probably do in any case~~ ]

Hold still, I'm not finished yet.

[Sorry, that was your 10 seconds of dere for the day, you have passed your quota. Gai continues what he's doing until all of the pain is gone, then turns to regard Yozora.]

... Not as much. [ SHE DOESN'T WANT HIS HELP OR HIS DERE. Yozora goes back to looking at her sheets and nervously twirling a lock of hair around her finger. She's still bad at handling strangers, after all. ]

[Keep your dere to yourself, Gai. It confuses Shu, but then again when is he not confused?

Brushing off Gai's hand.

What is waiting for him to finish? Does it taste good?]

[And Gai goes right back into scowling slightly again when Shu brushes his hand away, but he doesn't protest. Instead, he lowers his hand, and it's not long before his lips quirk back up into a smirk.]

No wonder the two of you are friends.

[ Yozora keeps her head down, but she stops playing with her fringe. Don't point that out, it's still embarrassing! ]

Yozora's the president of a club we're in together. She's friendly and nice.
