Hospital Log: Stab Ward Edition

Who: OPEN TO ALL
What: Get yourself treated for sudden stab wounds! Heal people who have been stabbed! Can't do much about the betrayal, though, sorry. Feel free to interact with other patients and stuff. Bond over bleedy betrayal!
When: day 51+
Where: Sigyn district hospital
Rating: PG-13ish?

Momoka has managed to set aside an entire room for the sudden influx of stab wound victims, probably because most of the hospital workers are still blank and grey enough that they don't mind being ordered around by a ten-year-old. Anyway, this makes for easy interaction with everyone else going through the same thing as you. Make some stab friends!

[When did he say that? Sora has to think a little bit. He taps his head. Oh, right, when he was talking to Ven! Yeah, about that... He's about to answer when suddenly things between them don't seem right.

Flinching away, the nervous looks, Roxas' confusion, referring to one of Sora's recent conversations; it starts to add up in Sora's head.

Finally the truth hits him and leaves him frozen, only able to stare at Roxas. It hurts, knowing someone he considers a very close companion has no idea who he is.]

[Sora's arms drop to his sides. He isn't sure how to approach the whole "I am you, you are me, we are us and also I stabbed myself in the chest" thing. Fully aware of the tension between them, he clears his throat and does his best.]

Really? Kairi's our best friend. She's cool, I think you'd be good friends.

Anway, a year ago the Heartless attacked our home. Riku got away but Kairi was in trouble. Riku saved her body but she lost her heart. We found out her heart was inside of me.

[He covers his heart with his hand and looks down at his chest. There's no scar underneath his clothing, but falling into darkness is something he'll never forget. He looks up again to look Roxas in the eye while he explains the next part.]

I took out my heart so I could give back Kairi's. That's when you were... born, I guess?

[Alarmed at once, Sora reaches out to touch him again but stops himself before he gets too close. He just dropped a drama bomb on Roxas; no need to make it worse with physical contact.]

Ghhh... J-just leave me alone... [ Probably a good idea )8 he's curling up onto his injured side quickly and taking short, quick breaths since those hurt too. His head definitely hurts now, memories of his last few days in Twilight Town flashing through his head. The Dusks, the photos, the dreams--it all happens so fast and in such a whirl of colors it almost makes him feel sick :c ]

[Sora freezes for a moment. No one's ever told him to go away before. He knows he's overstepped his boundaries by miles. He tries to think of something to say that will fix what he's done, but nothing comes to mind. Helpless, he nods.]

I'm sorry, Roxas. I just... figured you should know. I'll go now. Feel better, okay?

[He turns away from Roxas slowly, eyes lingering on his pained form, as the guilt eats away at his insides. While he's leaving the room, he looks back once. Will Roxas ever talk to him again?

When he's outside the room, Sora raises his hand to his bracelet to contact Riku. Doubt fills his mind. He's sure Riku would just tell him what he already knows: you went too far, Sora. You shouldn't have said so much.

Sora leaves the hospital and heads back to Freya feeling the worst he's felt in a long time.]
