Who: Ichigo (
suppressthedark) and anyone that wants to bug him.
What: SHOWING OFF HIS SWORD SKILLS-I mean training over at the arena.
When: Day 66!
Where: The Arena over at Thor.
Rating: G? PG?
The color was back into the world, and they could even leave the city-although it didn't lead back home, but into some wilderness. Typical. Just fucking typical.
Whatever. He didn't want to go out exploring anymore, but he didn't want to stay around, either. And he definitely didn't want to go back on the rooftops-there was too much of a chance of running into someone he didn't want to see at the moment. But he'd heard about an Arena in Thor's district, and well...he didn't have anything else do to. Plus, his skills were probably going to get rusty before long if he didn't start training.
So it isn't long before he's there, attacking multiple training dummies, his sword flashing around in the air and possibly attracting the attention of anyone around. Or maybe it's the fact that the dummies are getting destroyed and the sound of things BREAKING and getting slashed into pieces that brings you over. He's had a lot of frustration, anger, and maybe just a little angst that had been building up in him over the past days, and now he's taking it out on those poor defenseless things.
{{OOC: as always, bracket tags are fine!}}

But not really, because hey - he's pretty good at that. Even if her favourite weapon is her stungun, she's practiced with blades before. So she leans forwards and yells down to him. ]
You're pretty good with that. I wouldn't want to be on your bad side! [ Shion you attacked him with a Furby Army. Too late. ] I should get myself one of those.

I think you're just fine with what you already have.
[AHAHAHAH YEAH, HE REMEMBERS THAT SHIT.]

One by one, he watched as each dummy had been cut or shattered into splinters. It was an impressive display and Varon was watching one hell of a show. He could spot the tell-tale signs of frustration. Even he was feeling that pull into the brink of angry oppression. He didn't have a weapon to use to counter and there was only so much he could do with his speed that he was beginning to feel boring and listless.
Once the last dummy shattered, he felt that it was his time to leave. He really had nothing to say other than how impressed he was but even then what good will these skills be when nothing happens.

So, shouting from the stands: ]
Looking good, Kurosaki~! [ don't ask when he got here, please. ]

OH DEAR GOD HOW DOES HIJIRI ALWAYS FIND HIM?!]
Hijiri?
[He's...not stalking him, is he?]
no subject
Hm, that's weird... You're surprised? Ah, is this easier than you expected?
no subject
No-I didn't think you'd be here.

And then she sees the boy, orange hair sticking out like a sore thumb as he cuts the dummies to ribbons. She watches in silence for a time, noting his skill. If he stops for a moment, though, he'll hear her applause.]
Molto bene! Those bastardi had it coming.
[Teasing? DEFINITELY.]

Don't tease me.

Kate grabs the battle staves and heads towards the part of the arena with the dummies only to find Ichigo already there, surrounded by dummy shrapnel. She's in full leathers, and reaches up to adjust the glasses she always wears as she addresses Ichigo, slinging one of the staves over her shoulder and resting one hand on her hip.
"Planning on leaving any for the rest of us?"
no subject
"There are plenty left."
...Yeah, like...a couple. Because you destroyed all the rest.

But she's still impressed, and there's amusement behind her words. The raw power he's displayed by taking so many out, even if it does leave her with fewer options as to battle exercises, makes her smile wryly.
"I was planning on setting up a circle of them to practice with, but seeing as how dwindling numbers of dummies are making that difficult, I'll have to change my plans." She brings the stave that was over her shoulder down to place it in the holster. "Unless you'd like to offer yourself as replacement. Think you can replace seven dummies against me?"

Once her body has been limbered up enough, she begins with some simple kicks. Eventually, though, the sheer amount of noise to her left is too distracting to focus properly. She notices the reflection off of the large sword before she sees who is wielding it, and approaches somewhat cautiously.
Finally, she spots Ichigo and approaches from the front so that she won't startle him.]
Hello.

Hey.
[He nods towards her. It's still a little awkward to not know her name, but...]
You're not going to yell at me for the noise, are you?
[Because everyone else has, dammit. :|]
no subject
[Although she's not going to offer assurances that it's not that loud, either. He's quite loud.]
I would be annoyed if you made noise like this in Hel district when I was trying to sleep, but you are in the training area.
[It's as close to an assurance as Laura can manage. Ichigo has made a good impression on her, and he even reminds her a little of her friends - a little trait here and there.
She pauses for a moment.]
Something is troubling you.

You're that guy who helped me with my dog.
