[open] The Roadhouse's doors are always open...
Who: Jo Harvelle & you!
What: Some conversations are best had over a beer.
When: various times after dream event.
Where: The Roadhouse
Rating: PG-13?
[ The Roadhouse is most always open - it gives people somewhere to go, and Jo something to do. Some people come to find Jo, other's just come to find peace. Either way, it's good alcohol and an informal atmosphere to forget your troubles for a while...
Just watch out for Ash on the pool table. ]
ooc: had a few plans for Jo and some of her CR, figured I'd throw up an open log for anyone looking for a reason to head to a bar and chat it up with the local, non-native bartender! Feel free to leave OTA tags, or have your characters interact with their own CR with the Roadhouse used as a meeting place of sorts. Totally up to you.

[ She's busying herself with whatever is in front of her on the bar - cleaning glasses or rearranging bottles. Something to keep her hands moving so she doesn't end up saying too much. ]
ty bb.
It was 2007. Why?

Two years down the road from you, you and Sam ask my mom and me for some help on a case. We don't make it. What you saw was how my subconscious remembers it - it's not exact, but close enough.

[Dean reaches out and grabs her hand by the knuckles. Holds it. He needs to give her some kind of comfort after that.]
What the hell were those things tearin' into you? I've dealt with a lot of things but not anything I couldn't see for myself or figure out how to fight. My stunt double didn't seem like he was much help either.

It happens. I've been here for a few months, so I've gotten over it, but...yeah. [ But then he's asking about how, by what, and the fact he doesn't know makes her uncomfortable.
Sam asked her not to tell him too much, and if he didn't recognize Hellhounds, then he must not have dealt with them yet. ]
You'll run into them soon, once you go back. [ Not that that's reassuring, in the least, but still. ] They're hella nasty; invisible and hard to kill. Once they catch your scent, they never stop until you're dead. Or they're dead.

[Dean pulls away his hand. It's abrupt. Like a wounded animal. He's really frigging tired of everyone being on eggshells around him.]

I don't want to talk about it, okay?
[ Jo sighs a little, because this isn't what she wanted to happen with this talk. ]
Sorry I just- it's not your fault, what happened. You had your own history with them and you went down and when I tried to get it off you I had my back turned for too long. They're like dogs, I guess. [ She shrugs. ] I didn't ask a lot of questions beyond how to kill them.

Don't know which is worse. You not even bein' willin' to tell me what the hell those things are. When I know you know. I'm not stupid. or Sam bein' sick and not trusting me with how it happened or why he's barely eating and sendin' off heatwaves.
[Dean says his piece and he leaves. Taking the beer with him. He's angry. He doesn't feel like anyone here gives a damn about him or trusts him enough to level with him and tell him the truth and that's the worst feeling.]

It's the exact opposite of what she wanted to accomplish, with asking him to stop by, but she can't really blame him for storming out. She would have done the same. ]
