[OPEN] moving day!
Who: Kiritsugu & anyone
What: moving!
When: Day 263, evening
Where: Sigyn Welcome Hall -> Paid Housing 102
Rating: PG-13 tops?
[Kiritsugu is moving. After returning home, he and Iri decided it was time to start drawing on Kiritsugu's savings so they could move in together. Of course, bringing others along was a given, including and especially Archer.
So Kiritsugu is packing up his stuff and carrying it to the new house in small wagon loads pulled by a hired pair of NPC porters. You'll see him carrying boxes in Sigyn district, but you'll see him more frequently loading the wagon and directing the porters in Sigyn welcome hall.
The catch? He knows Archer is going to fuss despite their previous conversations on the subject. Thus he's packing and moving Archer's things as well. While Archer is at work.]

...when you become accustomed to returning to one place every night, it's only natural to do so without question.
Normally this poses no problem, as much as Archer is loathe to accept any sense of "settling in." Alas, today he returns to find half his things missing.
Troubled, he examines the room, finds signs of items moved boldly but without any apparent ill-intent. Then--
No.
He returns to the first floor of the welcome hall, and all is as he expected. Naturally he has few reservations about approaching his father in this situation.]
...I assume you're the one responsible.

[They're in public, so he can't say "Shirou". He doesn't have to say it for it to be heard in his tone, however. Sometimes he talks to Archer in business mode, and a proper working distance is kept between them. Now is not one of those times. He sets a box of Archer's dishes down in the wagon, smiling as if nothing's wrong at all. As if it's a given that he'd break into his son's room and pack his things without his permission.]
How was work?

Good evening, Hibiki. What are you up to?

[She looks so excited to hear that!]
That will be wonderful! And then you can all live together and-- ah, that's amazing!

Any of the constant worry and concern she's experienced for the past couple of weeks seem mostly gone or at least muted and hidden at this point. Mostly, she's more than happy to tag along with Kiritsugu wherever he goes, waiting for him outside of Sigyn when necessary.]
Maybe after we settle in, we could try for a house-warming party--ah, or something a bit smaller than that.
[She knows well enough that Kiritsugu prefers a quieter atmosphere.]

[Noise and crowds aren't his natural element, but it isn't as if he can't stand it. If it makes Iri happy, he's more than willing to endure playing host to a party. It's worth it for the sight of her having fun -- especially here, without the heaviness of her destiny on her shoulders.]

[she is mostly teasing as picking out clothes just for an informal get-together would be silly.
on the other hand, getting an opportunity to pick out clothes for Kiritsugu and other people would really be an amusing and fun task. she remembers how fun it was when she thought of it for Saber at the Einzberns...
though the reminder of Saber being gone does color her smile a bit with a hint of melancholy]

[At this point he's willing to give her anything that she likes, within reason. Why not? All the things they couldn't have before are a possibility now, so there's no reason not to indulge while they have the chance.]
no subject
[She's excited and yet still hesitant to meet this person that Kiritsugu cares greatly for. ]

[He can't quite conceal his smile -- or the childishly mischievous nature of it. He's not nearly as embarrassed about it as he tries to look.]
I've been moving his things too.

[She blinks at that, somewhat confused.]
He needed help with it?
