[OPEN] EVENT LOG: BAD MOON RISING - WEEK TWO
Who: EVERYONE!
What: Bad Moon Rising: Week Two
When: Days 323-326 ( September 8-15 )
Where: All across the city.
Rating: PG-13. Anything that might go higher than that should be taken to a private log, please!
[ You've been on edge. Inexplicably, so far as you can tell in the moments after those short bouts of quick, sharp anger you've experienced in the past few days - but maybe it's simply stress from the recent attacks on the city. Perhaps some rest will help, or a nice day at Folkvang to decompress and gather yourself.
Whatever you try, though, the odd feeling of being off stubbornly lingers on. Anger is joined by discomfort, the shadows in the corners of the room just a little bit darker than usual and did you see something dart down that alley way? The hallucinations creep into every day activities, paranoia and snappishness leading to insomnia and sleep deprivation. Try as you may to ignore it, the symptoms only seem to escalate over time. Maybe it's stress. Maybe it's something else entirely.
But it's stubbornly lingering on. Perhaps some rest will help ... ]
[ OOC NOTES: This is the mingle log for Week 2 of the Bad Moon Rising event! Characters will start experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations alongside vivid violent thoughts at strange, innocuous moments. Some characters may start sleep walking and heading towards the Gate of Fog; none will make it, however, so lock your doors and keep an eye on your friends. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location in your comment titles. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! ]

And oddly, it's more unsettling than it might've been a day or two before. But stumbling Spike, who so clearly knew her somehow, had been harder than Fred would've thought.
She hears herself stumbling across very similar words]
...I think you've got me confused with somebody else. [She searches his features closely, but no. Still a stranger] It's Fred.
no subject
Yeah, sure.
[Fred was a guy's name.]
Long time no see.
[Seven years go by quick when you've got an apocalypse to face, and you're trying to close the gates of hell.]
What'll you have?
no subject
[She feels the need to clarify one more time. The events of the last few days just add that more more emphasis to her name. This isn't about the man in front of her so much, as it's about her.
Then, finally...]
How 'bout a shot of tequila. We'll see where it goes from there.
no subject
Lucas didn't make the trip?
[It shows on his face that he's sorry to hear that. Those two needed to stick together. Especially after the spook taking most of their family.]
no subject
I'm really now whoever you seem to think I am. And I definitely don't know anybody named Lucas.
no subject
[He pours himself a shot of the tequila and knocks it back. His urger to drink was only accelerated by the damn things he kept seeing. It brought him too close to the brink.]
C'mon. Cut it out.
no subject
[She watches as he finishes his own shot]
I'm just standing here, being me. Being Fred. I've got know idea who this Andrea is you keep talking about. Or Lucas.
no subject
[Dean's not so sure but he continues anyway. He refills her shot and goes and gets a drink of his own.]
On the house. Sorry for the confusion.
[She was the spitting image of her. It makes him leery but he's got enough going on, he's not about to throw down because of it.]
no subject
[Her expression shifts again slightly as Fred reaches for the drink. But she reconsiders and instead lets her hand drift across the bar for a proper greeting. It's how things were meant to be done]
Just who did you think I was exactly?
no subject
[He pushes the drink her way and walks back down the bar to top a few other people off. When he comes back he leans up against the counter top.]
You one of the new recruits?
no subject
[Fred picks up her shot glass again, twisting it slightly and letting the light reflect]
....you've got something against memories?
no subject
I just don't see any reason to drudge 'em up if they don't have to be.
no subject
Only not everything's caught up in the muck, I don't think. Not enough to need drudging.
no subject
I dunno about that.
no subject
no subject
[He's happy he has Jo and Ash with him, it's all he gives a crap about these days. Looking after them and making sure they're okay.]
no subject
[the library taught her that]
But I'm glad you've got friends here.
no subject
[He gives an uncaring shrug. This whole thing is awkward. Partly because he wishes it was Andrea that he was talking to.]
Doesn't make it any easier though. What about you? Anyone from wherever you're from here to keep you company?
