[The war cry will be literally be unheard as Soushi was currently deaf from the pixie's earlier sudden explosion attack. He was both blind and deaf. There will be no reaction heard from his side until one of the pixies lost its' wing while the other was forced to drop the katana due to the weight.

'Damn, human, getting in their way before the best part could be reached,' it was most likely the closest thought they might be having, if they had any that was. Either way, the pixie was stubborn and will be trying to take the weapon again, allowing the guys enough time to interact.

When he regained his hearing, it was when Yosuke was heading towards his general direction, the sound of his shoes crunching the snow beneath him was loud enough to be heard the moment the hearing was fixed. Soushi was uncertain over his vision, but no matter the case he will take hold of the fox-like mask tied to his left hip and place it over his face. He knew it was too late to hide the ears and tails from the younger boy, and was in no mood to answer any questions he might have over it.]

...careful, they have a new ability.

[He will rise from the ground, and with his mask on turn to the younger boy as he tries to speak in a much deeper and emotionless voice.]

They can now cast a blinding light and explosion that will leave you without hearing and vision for a brief moment. [And without another moment's notice, thin blades will be used at he swiftly throws them towards the pixie trying to carry his precious katana.] I'm taking my weapon back, destroy a body part before it decides to explode. [And without even receiving agreement or not over the plan, Soushi will be heading towards his weapon at full speed while awaiting for Yosuke to make his next move to help him eliminate the pest for him.]

[Soushi didn't expect much from the younger boy as he offered the earlier order. After all, Yosuke was an ordinary human, as far as he knew, and did not hold the same capabilities an atavist his age would hold. A human lived a normal, uneventful life while an atavist was constantly in danger by supernatural beings that hunted them for sport or food. Needless to say, quick reflexes in battle is all Soushi has as a natural talent.

That's why the moment Soushi was close to the ice pixies, he'll use the force of his nine tails to sent a few of them flying away from his weapon while he forcefully took his weapon back, allowing the force to sent another one flying in a random direction while he uses his free hand to smack the remaining one. The moment he had done so, Soushi will try to move away from the group as he decides to say out loud to the other boy.]

As long as there is a group, we should be safe from their flash grenade maneuver. They'll harm their allies, otherwise. [So in other words, Soushi was suggesting to keep the group occupied while they eliminate the creatures one by one.] ...do you have any other sharp object to use that can shattered ice? [All asked once Soushi was standing in front of the boy as he takes a more defensive stance with his weapon in hand. Yosuke was greatly needed in the fight that was to come, especially when he was uncertain the next time they'll use the explosion ability again. Having a battle partner sounded like a good way to battle them.]

Understood. Consider it done. I'll do all I can to keep you covered.

[And without saying another word, Soushi will quickly take his place by literally covering Yosuke's back to keep not only the younger boy from gaining a surprise attack, but keeping his own back protected (so yes he was using Yosuke as his meatsheild in a way).

As his opponents began to get closer and closer to him, Soushi will remain calm and even begin to concentrate over his next attack. Once he felt the creatures had gotten close enough, Soushi will strike at full force against the icy creatures by slashing the one in the middle before using his tails to throw a second one away as he defends himself against the third's flying tackle attacks towards him.]

[While Yosuke created a stunning performance by using his own weapon and given abilities to fight against the pixies, Soushi will continue to slash, smack, kick, step, and even choke the pixies until their bodies shattered or turned into pieces. Just as the young boy, Soushi showed no mercy to any of the creatures, allowing his anger to be the force behind his brutality against the creatures.

Once he had cleared the group before him, he will quickly return his position to the younger boy, watching him use his abilities with such precision that he couldn't help realize the potential within the teen ally before him as he always believed in him having.]

I took care of the pixies over my side. Do you need me to do anything-- [And just as Soushi was going to finish his response, a heavy tremor will be felt at the other end of the alleyway they were currently in. Soushi had a feeling they were not out of the woods yet by the feeling alone.] ...I recommend taking our leave before we have no way of escape...

[The fox demon will follow after Yosuke once he begins to head the opposite direction to the recent mini-quake felt close by. Soushi did promise, in a way, to look after Yosuke's back, so he remained behind the younger teen in the likelihood more foes may appear without a moment's notice.

As they ran through the alleyway, Soushi began to look around wondering if he recognized the area or even particular alleyway they were on, but he wasn't given the luxury of figuring it out as more explosions and even other quakes will be heard over their heads as lumps of snow will fall indicating more golems were thrown onto the rooftops, but luckily were too wide to squeeze into the small space of the alley.]

It would seem the Royal Ice Witch knows we were in this particular area and has began to throw golems in this direction. It's good to know she can't tell where she is throwing them, wasting them in a way.

[However, as he thought about his earlier words, he could not help have a premonition over the matter -- what if there is a group of golems waiting for them at the other side of the alleyway? It was possible, but he wasn't entire certain if it were the case until another quake will be felt just as they were close to leaving the safety of the alleyway, only to be met with a recent crash landed golem. Upon spotting the two of them, he will offer a powerful roar and head in their general direction with as much speed as it can afford (which wasn't much) and began to block the exit with his body as it tires to tare the two buildings apart.]

...wasting ammo on small fry like us. [Yup. He was impressed over all the trouble in trying to trap them like this. Why were they being targeted by golems now? His attention will be on Yosuke as he pulls the boy away from the entrance now.] Do you believe we can take on this creature with our combine strength? [More like, does Yosuke want to try and defeat the golem?]
