Maglor turns and bows, face and form inhumanly fair, and yet somehow distinctly male - if he is startled by a stranger on the rooftops he hides it well (In truth, between Riley's fondness for trying to surprise him, as well as the various assassins who come this way for workouts, and his own long years of warfare, it is very hard to startle him in general, really).

"Suilad!" He greets back and cannot quite resist a small tease "Well met, stranger. I do not think you are one of the usual rooftop runners - are you new come to Asgard, or new only to this practice?"

The nonanswer gets a brilliant smile, for is it not also said of the elves that they say both yes and no? Maglor's eyes are bright with the acknowledgment, but he shrugs and answers easily.

"There are. You will find many here who prefer to take the roads less traveled. Well, if you mean no harm to me or mine, you may feel free to share this rooftop, at least."

"Hm, and in that we are of like mind then, stranger." A graceful, formal bow, as Giovanni joins Maglor on his rooftop - a little too graceful to be human.

"So! Maglor I am, and this is my humble roof. Be well come to Asgard, sir, and this small domicile." Maglor knows well the benefits of making allies, especially with war on their doorstep, he can no longer afford to walk the road he has for the last three thousand years, the quiet watcher in the shadows.
