[It was related, but not quite the same. This was less the succubus-kiss thing and more the fact that, along with that, she was a good old fashioned predator. She ate about 50-50 meat.]

What, spices? They all eat bland stuff most of the time, but there's strong spices so I just add it to the food I eat. I'm actually a good cook, so that helps.

[Flop flop. That tail was just sort of batting at the air like a cat's would, lazily moving about. She looked down at it and made a motion if Luna wanted, steeling herself a little. She hadn't been entirely clear, but the thing was an erogenous zone, so ... she really hoped Luna wasn't going to get too touchy feely. It was so awkward.]

Go ahead. Just don't get too... touchy feely. It's very sensitive, ok?

[Almost as if it knew, it reached out a bit towards her, waiting and expectant.]

[Her cheeks flushed a little and the tail started to coil itself very gently around Luna's wrist, wrapping the pad back around to her palm again. The girl bit her lip and nodded.]

It's fine... really. Like I said, it's just very sensitive. I have to tune sensations I get from it out a lot or it gets confusing. [and oh god the last time she got it caught in a door...]

[She let herself laugh softly.] It does, but it's not trying to protect itself right now. It's being affectionate. It likes doing that when it gets the chance. Sometimes too much.

[Oh the mention of reproduction got a blush out of her, a fierce and very visible one. She swallowed and coughed, looking to the side.]

Cambions are mules. We can't have children. It's probably tied to us being half human and half demon. [Swallow] But... my tail kind of gets involved in feeding a lot of times.

Right here at the table. [She motioned for someone to come over.] We can get the drinks brought out to us.

...I guess you could think of it as essential, though. I've never thought of it that way, even if I don't mind it half as much as I usually say.

[Samantha ordered tea. She really wasn't in the mood for anything too sweet today. When the waiter slipped away, the cambion reached up to scratch at the back of her head a little nervously.]

[Have a slightly uncomfortable cough before she settled a bit.] My father was what was known as an incubus. It's a type of demon that feeds off of peoples' life force in sex and tries to tempt them to whatever vices they most enjoyed so he could feed.

I'm half that, which means that I'm basically a predator. I eat more meat than anything else, and at the same time I can and do feed when I'm ... with someone that way. The power I have in Freya house is a lot like that, and it ... still works sort of for me like it did at home, only not quite the same.

[She couldn't give energy back at home after all, and people needed to be at their climax before she could feed. So, it wasn't quite the same really. But, she could still 'metabolize' a little of the energy here.]

[Sam was a naturally suspicious character, but Luna being a friend of Hermione went a long way with her even if she and the witch didn't always have time to talk anymore.]

They call it Energy transfer. I can take some of your power from you with a touch, give it to someone else. I can take it all with a kiss, knock you out or if I keep taking, I can kill you.

mmm? Well, yeah. I don't think most of the people who have that power ever think of using a kiss to knock someone out or kill them, but if they've trained it up enough they can.

I guess it sort of came naturally to me though. [She seemed to notice the bugging of her eyes and looked a little abashed.] Predator and all.

What power did you end up with, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, that is a lot different. Freyr's powers are very different from Freya's. I admit I'm a little jealous of that, but at the same time, having this is more natural to me. I can deal with that.
