[closed] 'sassin bondin' times

Who: Asgard Brotherhood
What: rooftop dinnertimes
When: afternoon/evening 505 (after all 'sassins have voted on Satan)
Where: Needle roof!
Rating: PG-13

[ After speaking to the gods, Desmond headed back to the Needle for a beer, which he took up to the rooftop. It's a mild day in Asgard, overcast but not raining. He's leaning against the chimney when Connor finds him -- the novice was swinging by to speak to the masters, not wanting to have this conversation over the bracelets -- but Desmond offers him a beer and he puts more serious matters on hold to sit beside his comrade.

Maybe the others had the same idea to swing by the bureau, or just heard them from the shop downstairs, or maybe a couple beers in one of these boys sent you a message to come by. Point is, eventually there's a whole bunch of 'sassins up on the roof of Needle in a Haystack, and it's dinnertime. Let's family bbq. ]

(( you can thread finding them/being invited or hanging out at dinner or both, it's a free for all! ))

( she nods, solemnly, though she doesn't confirm that they're thinking about the same thing. she understands what he means, anyway. and she'd been killed last time corruption went around, so she was still a little sore about that. )

The important thing is that we found them.

( she has to resist the urge to shrug; maybe so many times in the line of fire has made her blase about things that should matter. or maybe she doesn't have the emotional energy to try and argue. )

It's never easy to find things hidden in plain sight.

( honestly, that's part of it. she'd missed this. she should have known, and hell, it was her job to know. if she was at shield when this happened, she would be dead. worse, her friends would be dead. the sort of dead where you don't come back from. )

Maybe. But if there are, they know what awaits them if they get caught. In some ways, that's a bad thing. They'll be more careful now.
